COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
Fluralaner 10 mg
PROPERTIES AND INDICATIONS:
Exofeda is effective acaricide against mites infesting poultry, sheep, goats and cattle. It is a potent inhibitor of parts of the arthropods nervous system. It begins to work within four hours of the mites feeding on treated animal and subsequently stop eggs production by female mites for 15 days after the first dose, disrupting the mite’s life cycle.
Exofeda used for the treatment of poultry red mites (Dermanyssus gallina) in pullets, chickens for reproduction and layer hens.
TARGET SPECIES:
Chickens (pullets, chickens for reproduction and layer hens), sheep, Goats and Cattle.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Poultry: For use in drinking water: 0.05 ml of Exofeda per 1 kg of body weight (equivalent to 0.5 mg fluralaner) administered twice, 7 days apart. The complete course of treatment must be administered for a full therapeutic effect.
For each day of treatment, medicated water must be freshly prepared.
If another course of treatment is indicated, the interval between two courses of treatment should be at least 3 months.
Sheep, Goats and Cattle: 1.5 ml per 10 kg of body weight, administered orally using drenching tools.
Do not repeat treatment before 54 days.
Do not mix treated and untreated animals.
